✨ Inspiration: "All Too Well (Ten Minute Version)" is my favourite Taylor Swift song, and when the Eras Tour film hit theatres, I knew I needed to show up in character. The red scarf is practically a symbol at this point — I had to make it.
No tutorial, no pattern, no second-guessing — just pure instinct and a love for the triple crochet stitch. I chained to my desired width, then worked continuous rows of triple crochet until the scarf reached the length I wanted draped around my neck. That's genuinely the entire pattern. Simple, satisfying, and surprisingly quick to work up.
The Tassels, Though
The fringe at each end was added one thread at a time — individual lengths of the same red yarn, folded and knotted through the edge stitches, until each end reached that fluffy, voluminous finish you can see in the photos. I kept adding until it felt right. There's no precise count, just vibes and patience.
Worn over a black velvet off-shoulder top with pearl bracelets, it looked — and I say this with full confidence — very, very cool.
Make It Yourself
This is genuinely one of the most beginner-accessible makes I've done. If you know how to triple crochet and how to add fringe, you can make this scarf. Choose a rich, saturated red yarn — the colour does all the heavy lifting. Go as long and as wide as you like; there are no rules here, just your vision.
